New Goal!
Yeah yeah yeah... I know... seems like I've got a goal of the week these days. A GotW (not Gift of the Wild) that never gets met, no less. But ANYWAYS, here's my new goal: finish either my cable scarf or the baby blanket before my new Knit Picks Options arrive. I want to start some socks with the yummy yummy Regia that my secret pal sent, but I've found that if I have more than two projects in active work at a time, all of them tend to get put aside as I can't seem to focus on just one at a time. I also want to find something nice to make a blanket for my own baby due in December, but so far I've said no to just about everything over laundering concerns.
Update on the Lace and Fan Baby Afghan: I've done 10 repeats of the stitch pattern, which is about 40% of the guesstimated 24 repeats needed to make the 42 inches called for in the blanket pattern. Figure it up and that's 102 rows of 176 stitches each for a total of 17,952 stitches in just over 9 days. Plus, somewhere in the middle of that (mostly at doctor's appointments and other "traveling" sites) I've added several cable repeats to my Irish Hiking Scarf. For the moment, I have way too much time on my hands. All of that will change when the semester starts on August 21st though.
Oh well, back to life. :)
