Coronet Complete
Yay! My Coronet is complete! This was a faster knit than I thought it was going to be. I was only working on it casually, just kind of meandering through the pattern, and I still finished it today after having cast on late Friday night.

Now, I know this picture doesn't show the yarn, pattern or cable band to the best advantage, but my daughter's just too damn cute to resist. I'm definitely going to knit up a few more of these. I want to dye up a pink/purple/red colorway to make one specifically for baby girl, a blues colorway for baby boy, and then some of various yarns to throw on the Christmas gift stash. This particular autumn colorway was something I hand-dyed earlier while playing with the technique. There's enough of this yarn left that I'll be making a matching pair of gloves. I haven't decided yet if this one is mine, hubby's, or part of the Christmas stash.
At some point, just because it's a short little project that lets me try something totally new, I'm going to attempt one of these Garterlac Dishcloths. I have a ton of Peaches-n-Cream sitting around and I definately don't want to try something big or something that uses an overly expensive yarn for my first entrelac project. So, long story short, some people may be getting dishcloths in thier stockings. How exciting, huh?
I'm off to go cast on the gloves!
